This is huge. UK government announces a profound change in direction on copyright: new and wider exceptions, protected access to orphan works, but no country-wide ISP blocking regime. Key quote: "[T]he widest possible exceptions to copyright within the existing EU framework are likely to be beneficial to the UK." This will position the UK to increase economic growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship, as well as scholarship and creative expression.

Eu só acredito vendo. A Europa está endurecendo as suas medidas de copyright (vide França). Espero que essas medidas realmente aconteçam, pois não há mais como impedir ou conter a pirataria. Abs.
