This seems like a good idea. I've always been concerned of using regular password managers like LastPass, as you will never know how your passwords are being saved and where. Furthermore, I don't trust much a password manager that has a "password recovery" service. To me, if you lose your master password, the only option should be to reset your passwords and lose everything (yes, that's what we call secure).
Passter has the option of saving the passwords locally or in Google Docs (both encrypted.) It uses OAuth and you don't need another account in another provider -- your google account is sufficient and you won't even have to give your google password to the extension.
Is it good enough? Don't know... Time will tell... But the idea is good.
